Peter Reilich, M.D., M.A.

Peter Reilich is Assistant Professor of Neurology at the at the University of Munich. Since 1998 he has been working at the Friedrich-Baur-Institute, part of the Department of Neurology, University of Munich, and is dedicated to the therapy and research of muscular diseases. He is specialized in the diagnosis and therapy of neuromuscular dysfunctions, as well as therapy with botulinum toxins. He works in clinical studies on the pathohistology and therapy of myofascial pain syndromes in close cooperation with Prof. Benedikt Schoser and Prof. Florian Heinen , M.D., Munich, Germany, Christian Gröbli, PT, Winterthur, Switzerland and until last with David G. Simons, MD, Covington, USA. Peter Reilich has completed his education in classical acupuncture and finished his postgraduate studies in health care management at the Universities of Kaiserslautern and Witten/Herdecke, Germany, with a “Master of Arts”.
