Philippe Froidevaux completed his training as a physiotherapist in 1990. Since then he has worked in several physiotherapy and medical practices with focus on acute and chronic pain patients, orthopedic as well as neurologic patients. Philippe Froidevaux was one of the first triggerpoint-specialists in Switzerland. Since 2008 he is a certified trigger point and dry needling-therapist DGSA. He was trained by Colla / Gröbli / Weissmann in Dry-Needling and has practiced it for several years. He completed training successfully in 2008. Since 2006 he teaches courses in manual trigger point- therapy and dry- needling in several countries. In 2005 Philippe Froidevaux completed training in Bad Zurzach as a pain therapist ZST (Zurzacher Pain Therapist). This type of work concerns an interdisciplinary concept of pain therapy. When practicing manual therapy he works according to the Kaltenborn/Evienth concept. He is currently attending courses at CRAFTA (Cranio Facial Therapy Academy). His further professional interests include the influencing of pain through the nervous system, medical training therapy, and other myofascial approaches to treatment. Philippe Froidevaux lives and works in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, where he works as a PT since 2001.
